A fine custom suit can say a thousand words.  A cheap suit says even more.  Your office wardrobe should reflect benchmarks in your career.  The suit you interviewed in shouldn’t feel comfortable when you climb the corporate ladder.  Work with our clothiers to determine the proper cut, fabric, and style that is suited not only for your office, but your style as well.

    Jacket Options: Cut
    • Tapered Jackets
    • The slimmer cut accentuates an athletic or slim torso. A great contemporary look.
    • Semi-tapered Jackets
    • As you can guess, a fit between a tapered jacket and a straight jacket. Want to update your wardrobe without looking like you tried to? Try this cut.
    • Straight Jacket
    • This is a classic. A straight silhouette cut for the traditionalist. Fuller for those who appreciate space.
    Jacket Options: Lining
    • Hundreds of Bemberg and Silk linings to choose from. Polka dots? Paisleys? If you want a signature suit with pop, we can do it. Did we mention there’s no extra cost?
    Jacket Options: Push-up Pocket Square
    • This is something special on every BALANI suit. We use the same lining in your jacket for the exterior breast pocket. Want some panache? Pull the lining out for a built in pocket square!
    Slack Options: Hidden Waistband Pocket
    • Travel much? Carry valuables? A favorite feature for many of our clients, we add a hidden pocket inside the lining of the waistband. Passports? Wallets? Cash? No worries.
Slack Options: Cuffs / No Cuffs
    • Finish with a cuff or plain bottom. Not sure which? Our clothing consultants can offer direction given the cut of your pants. Either way, we reinforce every bottom with a heel guard to reduce wear and tear.
    Blazer Options: Vents
    • Non-Vented
    • Typically donned on formal tailored pieces, such as a tuxedo, there is no opening in the back of the jacket. Beware: expect creasing when seated.
    • Center Vent
    • An American classic. A slit in the middle of the jacket back adds some functionality: the back opens, as opposed to wrinkles, when searching through pant pockets or when seated.
    • Side Vents
    • Located on both sides of the jacket. The most functional, it continues to conceal the derriere when seated or searching pockets. A favorite among tailors.
    Blazer Options: Hand-Cut Button Holes
    • As the name implies, the sleeve button holes are cut by hand, and are a signature element of a custom suit. Also referred to as "working button holes", feel free to unbutton a couple to flaunt the fact and expose more shirt.
Blazer Options: Pocket Styles Pockets aren’t just for function, they’re for fashion too. Changing their styling can dramatically take a jacket from casual to formal.
    • Straight besom
    • A set-in pocket that's finished with piping along its length.
    • Straight flap and pipe
    • Cousin to the besom pocket, it has an attached flap along the piping to cover the opening. Tuck the flap in and you’re back to a straight besom.
    • Patch
    • Sewn directly on the outside of the coat, this is epitome of casual. Expect to see it more frequently on sport jackets.
    • Slant besom
    • It's the same as a besom, just slanted. The angle creates a slimming effect and suggests some European flair.
    • Ticket
    • Find it above the right side pocket. This smaller flap pocket was originally designed to accompany theater or train tickets. Now it’s a unique styling option. Contemporary or classic? You decide.
Slack Options: Flat Front / Pleated
    • Flat Front
    • Definitely a more fashionable look. Cleaner lines and great for a slimmer build. The shorter rise can make one appear a bit taller.
    • Pleated
    • The status quo for years and generally preferred by conservative and comfort minded dresser. However, a thicker thigh or fuller seat may mandate the usage of pleats.
    Slack Options: Grip Guard
    • Stitched along the inside of the waistband, it helps keep your shirt tucked in. All day long.
